I was paired with Aruna who made Peanut Almond ladoo which I am planning to try for Diwali. I made this simple and quick Almond stuffed Chocolate Dates.
Ingredients
- Dates - Key ingredient of the recipe. Use seedless dates or remove seeds.
- Almond - Remove the skin of the almonds.
- Milk/Dark Chocolate - Use milk or dark chocolate or combination of them.

Instructions
Take all the ingredients. Soak almonds in hot water for 10-15 minutes.
Peel the skin of almonds and keep it aside.
Stuff the peeled almonds inside the dates.
Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave for 30 seconds.
Coat the stuffed dates in chocolate.
Repeat the same for the rest of the dates and allow it to set for some time.
Almond stuffed chocolate dates is ready.
Variations
- Stuffing - Instead of almonds, you can use a combination of nuts, Nutella, sweetened khoya, caramel, or anything of your choice.
- Coating - After you coat them in chocolate, roll them in nuts, cocoa, or desiccated coconut.
- Chocolate - You can use milk, dark or white chocolate. Even choco chips will work out.

- 12-15 Almonds
- 200 g Milk/Dark Chocolate

- Take all the ingredients.
