Aval Laddu Recipe | Poha Ladoo | Poha laddu recipe with step-by-step pictures and instructions. Aval Laddu is a healthy and delicious ladoo made with three main ingredients poha, brown sugar, and ghee. One of the quick and easy laddu which gets ready in less than 20 minutes with easily available ingredients.
This is most commonly made during Krishna Jayanthi as aval is one of the favorites for Krishna. You can make it as healthy snacks for kids. You can use powdered jaggery instead of brown sugar. I used ghee for binding which makes it melt in the mouth. You can use any variety of aval for this recipe. You can add powdered nuts or coconut for extra crunch.

How to make Aval Laddu with step by step pictures
Dry roast poha in a pan till crispy.
Allow it to cool down and take in a mixer.
Grind to a fine powder.
Take brown sugar in the mixer and powder it.
Take poha, sugar, cardamom powder in a bowl
Heat ghee and roast the cashews till golden.
Add the roasted cashews and ghee to the mixture.
Mix it nicely with a spoon.
Shape them as ladoo. Can add more ghee if it doesn’t hold shape.
Repeat the same for rest of the mixture
Healthy aval laddu is ready.
