Aval Sakkarai Pongal Recipe | Poha Sweet Pongal recipe with step-by-step pictures and instructions. Aval sakkarai Pongal is a variation of sweet Pongal made with poha instead of raw rice. Sweet Pongal in any form is always welcome so I try with different grains like millets, quinoa, broken wheat, etc.
Aval is a new addition to the list. It is almost similar to the way we prepare sakkarai Pongal with rice. It takes less time since the poha gets cooked fast. You can use any variety of poha to prepare this Pongal. Pongal is around the corner so started to share some different and interesting Pongal recipes.
