Balti Noodles Recipe | Noodles in Balti Sauce recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Noodles cooked with spicy balti sauce is delicious and lip smacking variation of usual noodles we make with sauces. Balti sauce is onion tomato based sauce with lot of spices. It is one of the famous curry in UK. Balti, as a food is named after the steel or iron pot in which it is cooked. It is known to have originated in Birmingham and balti curry is usually cooked in high flame.

This is my contribution to A to Z Recipe Challenge facebook group where we need to post recipes using ingredients starting in alphabetical order. Letter for this month is N and I choose N for noodles and made this spicy noodles in balti sauce.

How to make Balti Noodles with step by step pictures
Boil water in a pot. Once it boils add the noodles and salt.
Cook for 7-10 minutes till it is just cooked. Drain the water and run through cold water. Once the water is drained add 1 tsp oil to noodles and mix so they don’t stick to each other.
Heat oil and crack the eggs.
Add pepper powder and salt to it.
Scramble them and add the cabbage, capsicum, salt to it and saute for 1 minute.
Next add balti sauce to the veggies.
Saute in high flame for 3-4 minutes till veggies are cooked and crunchy.
Now add the cooked noodles and saute in high flame till everything is combined.
Check the seasoning and add salt, pepper powder as required.
Spicy Balti Noodles is ready.
