Basic Glace Icing recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Learn how to make simple, glossy and easy glace icing. It is simplest icing recipe where sugar is mixed with water and it can be used to decorate cakes, cup cakes, donuts or cookies. It comes as rescue when you don’t have whipping cream or butter and less time to prepare anything. I have used it many times to decorate my cakes. I made this to decorate cup cakes which I made for cake sale in my daughter school. It can also be used as edible glue to stick fondants. Though it is very simple recipe, I want to have it as separate post since it will be used in many recipes.
