Basundi Recipe | How to make Basundi recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Basundi is one of the popular dessert made by reducing milk and adding sugar. Garnish it with lot of nuts and serve them chilled. You can have them warm also. This is most common dessert in our home. This is very similar to Rabri but texture and consistency varies.
Traditionally milk is simmered till it reduces its volume. We can add condensed milk or cream as short cut to reduce the time of making basundi. Flavor them with cardamom powder and saffron. Make this delicious dessert for festivals or special occasions and everyone will love it. You can make this ahead for parties or get together and it keeps well in fridge for 3-4 days.
