It is one of the popular breakfast recipes in North India. It hardly takes less than 10 minutes to prepare the batter and we can make the chilla immediately. One of the quick and easy option for breakfast, dinner or snacks.
It is popularly known as vegetarian Omelette. I added only onions and spices. You can add any vegetables or greens of your choice to make it more healthy. People allergic to gluten can enjoy these chilla as besan is gluten free. You can serve it along with green chutney or ketchup or pickle.

How to make Besan Chilla with step by step pictures
Finely chop the onions and green chillies. Take besan flour in a bowl
Add all the other ingredients to flour
Add water slowly and mix it with flour.
Mix without lumps to flowing consistency batter.
Heat kadai and spread the batter. Drizzle some oil and cook for 30-40 seconds
Flip and cook till it is done.
Serve hot Besan chilla with chutney or pickle
