Chaat platter | Chaat Party Recipes

    Oct 1, 2020 · 6 Comments

Final in my series of thali and platter is the chaat platter. Let's plan for some chaat party. Chaat is one of the common street food enjoyed across all ages. We have so many different types of chaat recipes. Base of any chaat is chutneys, papdi, sev and puri. I have made everything in this platter from scratch. If you don't have time can use store-bought papdi or puri and prepare the chaat in home.

I planned to make masala puri and ragda pattice first. Then changed my mind since I didn't have time to prepare puri in home. Everyone in home enjoyed the chaat platter and asked for some extra serving. Perfect platter to plan for potluck or when you have some guests in the evening.

In the chaat platter, we have

    Ragda

    Bread chaat

    Bhel puri

    Aloo Chaat

    Dahi papdi Chaat

    Bread Dahi chaat

    Green chutney

    Tamarind chutney

    Red chutney

It is simple to put together this chaat platter with little planning. Preparation of any chaat items is breeze when you have the red, green and sweet chutney ready. Plan and prepare them one or two days ahead. You can use them and make many delicious chaats. Once you have everything ready, assemble while serving. I always have with some extra chutney and sev.

Wow ! Now this is the food that Is ranked no 1 ! Bhel puri , ragda , these are our favourite chaats . I wish I could have some right away :)) Making everything from scratch is tedious but nothing like home made . I too stock the chutneys , but the pooris - they are always store bought . Yummy chaat platter!
