Chicken Liver Masala Recipe | Chicken Liver Masala fry Recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Chicken liver masala is one of the simple and delicious recipe made using chicken liver and common spices. It is quick recipe too which can be made within 30 minutes. It goes well with rice as well as roti. Masala is so flavorful and addictive side dish. Unlike mutton liver, chicken liver gets cooked fast so you can prepare this quickly.
Some people don’t like eating liver but it contains lot of nutritious benefits too. Chicken livers are high in protein and are loaded with iron to give you energy as well as increase hemoglobin level. It is also rich source of vitamin A. Ingredients
- Chicken 250 grams
- Onion 1 medium
- Tomato 1 small
- Ginger garlic paste 1.5 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
- Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp optional
- salt 1/2 tsp or as required
- Coriander leaves to garnish
- oil 2 tbsp
- Mustard 1/4 tsp
- Fennel seeds 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves few
Instructions
- Cut and wash the chicken liver.
- Finely chop the onions and tomatoes and keep it ready.
- Heat oil and temper with mustard, fennel seeds and curry leaves.
- Add the finely chopped onions and saute for 1 minute.
- Then add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes.
- Then add tomatoes and saute till mushy.
- Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, pepper powder and salt and give a quick stir.
- Then add chicken liver and mix it.
- Liver will leave water for it to cook. If the mixture is too dry you can add little water.
- Allow it to cook nicely till soft and all water is absorbed.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with rice or roti
Notes
Chicken liver will get cooked fast.
If you like it dry, you can allow the liver to roast for some more time.
