Though I didn’t get a flat top these muffins were so soft, moist and spongy and can be enjoyed guilt free. It is free of refined flour and sugar. Best way to use the ripe bananas. I always have some over ripe bananas and end up using them in baking.
Adjust the sugar according to the sweetness of the bananas. I made only 6 muffins and it got vanished in 10 minutes. How to make chocolate banana muffins with step by step pictures
Sieve wheat flour, cocoa powder and baking soda for 4-5 times and keep it aside.
Take overripe bananas and mash them.
Add sugar, butter and egg to it and beat it nicely till fluffy.
Then add flour mixture in batches and mix with egg butter mixture .
Finally add milk and adjust the consistency of the batter.
Grease the muffin tray or place liners in muffin tray
Fill the batter to 3/4th of the tray and tap nicely to release air.
Preheat the oven to 160°C for 10 minutes. Place the muffin tray in oven and bake in the same temperature for 20-25 minutes till tooth pic inserted comes out clean.
Remove from muffin tray and serve
