Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe | Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe | Choco chips cookies recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Chocolate chip cookies is variation of butter cookies loaded with chocolate chips. Here I have not added cocoa powder and used only choco chips. My daughter wanted the cookies which Peppa Pig has. So used chocolate chips as topping too to have that effect. It is soft, crunchy and tasted so good. Perfect for kids snacks box or evening snacks with cup of hot Tea/Coffee.
I have used wheat flour and brown sugar for sweetness. You can enjoy these cookies guilt free. I like adding corn flour which gives amazing texture to cookies. I love baking and I used to bake a lot when I was in UK. Nowadays with too busy schedule and works, not really getting time. Should start baking frequently soon. How to make Chocolate Chip Cookies with step by step pictures
Combine wheat flour, corn flour, salt and baking powder and keep it aside.
Take butter in a bowl
Add sugar to it and mix butter and sugar to form a creamy texture.
Add vanilla essence to it.
Then add the Flour mixture to it.
Mix everything together to form dough. Add few drops of milk if required.
Now add chocolate chips to the dough.
Mix the dough to incorporate the chocolate chips
Take small ball of dough and flatten it with your hands
Place the cookies in baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Place extra choco chips on the top of cookies
Preheat the oven at 160°C and bake in the same temperature for 20-22 minutes till it is done.
Serve the cookies with hot cup of Tea/Coffee
