Chola Poori Recipe | Chola Puri Recipe | South Indian Bhature recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Chola Poori is South Indian version of bhature which is very famous in North India. There are few difference between both. Bhature is leavened flatbread where as chola poori can be made immediately. I am yet to try authentic version of bhature will share the recipe soon. Big size of chola puri with chana masala is one amazing combo which you should try at least once.
I got this recipe from magazine and noted it down in my notes long back. They use all purpose flour to make chola poori. I tried with combination of maida and wheat flour and it came so good. I have very fond memories of eating Chola Puri in my college canteen. It was so cheap at that time and we always order chola poori in the evening after the college and enjoy them. Gone are those evergreen days where we used to chat a lot and enjoy the food in canteen. Next in my flatbread series is chola poori with chana masala, potato curry and onions.
