Chutney Sandwich | Chutney toast | Leftover recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Learn how to make chutney sandwich with leftover green chutney and tamarind chutney. Bread sandwich or toast always come handy when you want to make quick breakfast or snack. This is one of the very simple and easy breakfast which can be prepared in 5 minutes. I always make green chutney whenever I want to make toast with bread or chats. I like to apply the chutney in bread and eat. In this recipe I toasted the bread in my toaster.
You can add few vegetables between layers of chutney. I used both the chutney and applied one on each side. You can use either one of them and apply butter on one side. Ingredients
- Bread 4 slices
- Green chutney as required
- Tamarind/sweet chutney as required
- Butter for brushing
Instructions
- Take four slices of bread
- Apply green chutney on one side of the bread.
- Apply tamarind/sweet chutney on other side of the bread.
- Cover both the bread slices
- Apply some butter on the top
- Place them in toaster or you can toast them in stove top.
- Toast till bread is browned
- Serve hot with cup of milk or juice
- Chutney sandwich is ready.
Notes
You can use either one of chutneys
You can also add some vegetables in between chutney
How to make Chutney Sandwich with step by step pictures
Take four slices of bread
Apply green chutney on one side of the bread.
Apply tamarind/sweet chutney on other side of the bread.
Cover both the bread slices
Apply some butter on the top. Place them in toaster or you can toast them in stove top.
Toast till bread is browned. Serve hot with cup of milk or juice
Chutney sandwich is ready.
