Dahi Bhalle Recipe | Dahi Bhalla Recipe | How to make Dahi Bhalle recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Dahi Bhalle is popular street food in North India which is very similar to south Indian Dahi Vada. Deep fried urad dal fritters are topped with yogurt, green chutney, sweet chutney and spices. Preparation of dahi bhalle is easy when you have the green and sweet chutney ready. Plan and prepare them one or two days ahead. You can grind the batter and keep in fridge too. It will take less than 20 minutes if we have all things ready.
You can add any topping like boiled potatoes, peas, cucumber, sev, pomegranate etc. I made this simple without any extra toppings. People in our home like to eat the bhalle as such instead of chaat. So I made only one plate and enjoyed it myself. I realized only today after I saw posts from Vaishali and Valli that I was supposed to do Dahi Gujiya for today. Somehow I got confused and thought it is Dahi Bhalle and made it. It was late in the evening today so didn't have time if I want to do again too. Dahi Gujiya will be stuffed with nuts and made in half moon shapes. Will surely try it next time. Now lets see how to make Dahi Bhalle
