How to make fried chana dal with step by step pictures
Wash and soak chana dal for 3-4 hours.
After 4 hours, drain the water completely in a colander for 30 minutes.
Then spread it on a cloth to remove the moisture.
Heat oil in a Kadai and fry the chana dal in batches.
Fry till crispy and golden.
Drain them in kitchen tissue.
While it is warm, add the salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala, and mix.
Chana dal namkeen is ready.
Preheat the air fryer at 190°C for 3 minutes. Once the chana dal is dried, coat it with 1-2 tsp of oil and spread in parchment paper
Air Fry them for 12-15 minutes till it is crispy. shake them 2-3 times in between to cook evenly.
While it is warm, add the salt, red chili powder, chaat masala, and mix.
Air Fried chana dal namkeen is ready.
