Gobi Paratha Recipe | Cauliflower Paratha | How to make Gobi Paratha recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Gobi Paratha is Indian flat bread made with wheat flour and stuffed with cauliflower. It is quick and easy recipe where grated cauliflower is mixed with masalas and stuffing is ready. You can saute the cauliflower but I like to stuff it without cooking as it is quick and no compromise in taste. You can make these for breakfast, dinner or even pack these for lunch box.

I always love to make paratha for dinner and I make different varieties of paratha as platter. Serve it with simple raita or pickle. My hubby always like to have it with some gravy. Grate the cauliflower and squeeze to remove the excess water otherwise it would be difficult to roll. I made gobi, onion and aloo paratha along with Prawn masala, spicy corn and jeera rice for our dinner. Lets see how to make quick and easy Gobi Paratha.

Gobi Paratha is Indian flat bread made with wheat flour and stuffed with cauliflower.
    Prep Time 20 minutes minutes
    Cook Time 20 minutes minutes
    Total Time 40 minutes minutes
    Servings 8

    Ingredients

    • Wheat flour 2 cups
    • Salt 1 tsp
    • Oil 2 tbsp + extra for drizzling
    • Water 1 cup or as required

    Stuffing

    • Cauliflower 1 cup grated
    • Salt as required
    • Red chilli powder ½ tsp
    • Pepper powder ½ tsp
    • Green chilli 1 finely chopped
    • Amchur powder ¼ tsp
    • Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
    • Garam masala ¼ tsp

    Instructions

    • Take wheat flour in bowl, add salt and 1 tbsp oil.
    • Mix it nicely with hands
    • Then add water little by little and knead to form dough.
    • Add little oil now and knead for 7-10 minutes till dough is soft and smooth.
    • Cover and keep it aside for 15 minutes
    • Wash the cauliflower and grate them finely in grater/food processor.
    • Squeeze the excess water by pressing the grated cauliflower.
    • Then add all masala listed under stuffing.
    • Mix it nicely and stuffing is ready.
    • Take one ball of dough and dust it with some flour.
    • Roll them as small circle and place the stuffing in the centre
    • Bring all the edges and seal them
    • Now roll them like chapati sprinkling little flour.
    • Heat kadai and place the rolled paratha. Drizzle oil on the top.
    • Flip them and cook on both sides till golden.
    • Repeat the same for rest of the dough..
    • Serve them hot with raita, curd, pickle or any gravy

    Notes

Squeeze the juice of cauliflower properly otherwise it will make your paratha soggy making it difficult to roll.
If you keep the stuffing for long time after preparing, make sure to squeeze them again while rolling.
You can add generous amount of ghee instead of oil. I used less oil
You can adjust the spices according to your preference.
Dust with generous amount of flour while rolling so it is easy to roll
