Green Chutney recipe | How to make green chutney recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Learn how to make green chutney for sandwich, chats and snacks. It is very flavorful due to addition of coriander and mint leaves. There are many variations of green chutney using only coriander or using coriander and mint in different proportions. First I was introduced to this chutney in sandwich shop in my office. They used it for all sandwiches and they taste awesome.
After that I tried making in home and everyone liked it. I actually change the proportions of coriander and mint leaves according to what I have in stock but always use coriander more than mint leaves. It is nice accomplishment to snacks. When you have green chutney and tamarind chutney ready you can make lot of chat items. Always use fresh coriander and mint leaves for good taste. You can either use curd or lemon juice for tangy taste. This chutney will keep well for 3-4 weeks in fridge.

Ingredients
- Coriander ½ cup
- Mint leaves ⅓ cup
- Green chillies 2
- Crushed ginger 1 tsp
- Garlic 1 optional
- Cumin ¾ tsp
- Curd/lime juice 2 tbsp
- Salt as required
- Water as required
Instructions
- Take all the ingredients and keep it ready
- Take coriander and mint leaves in blender
- Add green chillies, garlic, cumin and crushed ginger to it.
- Grind them to fine paste adding little water
- Transfer to bowl
- Add salt and curd to green chutney and mix
- Green chutney is ready to serve
