Grilled Pineapple Recipe | Pineapple tikka recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Grilled pineapple is delicious starter made by marinating pineapple slices with spices and cooking in stove/oven/tandoor. It is one of the most popular starters in Barbeque nation Restaurant. I am not big fan of pineapple but liked it after eating there. Fresh juicy, sweet and spicy pineapple skewers can be served as starters for parties and get togethers.
It is so simple and easy to make with easily available ingredients. You can prepare and marinate them over night and grill them before serving. Serve it with Green Chutney. This is my contribution to A to Z Recipe Challenge facebook group where we need to post recipes using ingredients starting in alphabetical order. Letter for this month is P and I choose P for Pineapple and made this pineapple tikka. I served for lunch along with broken wheat biryani, potato curry and raita.

How to make grilled pineapple with step by step pictures
Remove the skin of pineapple and cut them as small cubes.
Take pineapple cubes in a bowl.
Add red chilli powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, lime juice and salt.
Mix them till it is nicely coated and allow it to marinate for 1 hour.
Take skewers and insert the pineapple cubes to it.
In the pan add few drops of oil and grill the skewers.
Brush it with little oil and sprinkle chaat masala on top.
Turn the skewers and cook on all sides till done.
Grilled pineapple skewers in ready.
