Herbal Rasam Recipe | Herbal Soup for kids | Mooligai Rasam recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Herbal rasam is soothing and healthy rasam with the goodness of different herbs like ajwain, betal leaves and tulsi. Rasam is integral part of South Indian cooking and we almost make it in alternative days.
Betal leaves improves digestion, reduces respiratory issues and has antiseptic and antifungal properties. Ajwain leaves helps to improve immunity, reduce gas, constipation and rich in fibre. Tulsi is natural immunity booster and relieves cold and cough.
Usually when kids have cold or cough I will make Kashayam from these herbs but kids refuse to drink them. So started making rasam and they really enjoy it with hot rice. It is very good for winter season and soothing for sore throat, cold or cough. You can enjoy this as soup. This can be given for babies above 10 months.
