It is quite similar to the way we prepare sakkarai Pongal. Jaggery is replaced with sugar candy and we use more milk. Gokulashtami is nearing and make sure you make this creamy kalkandu Pongal for the festival. Check out the other collection of Gokulashtami recipes from the blog.

Notes

You can powder the sugar candy and add to pongal so it melts easily.

You can use only water instead of milk. But milk will make it more creamy.

Adjust the sugar candy according to your preference. if you prefer more sweet you can add upto 3/4 cup

Add raisins along with cashews if you prefer.
