Mackerel Fish Curry | Mackerel Fish Kuzhambu

Mackerel Fish Curry | Mackerel Fish Kuzhambu recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Learn how to make spicy and tangy mackerel fish curry. I used mackerel fish which we get in tins for this recipe. You can use normal fresh fish for this recipe also. We used get these tin fish from my relatives in Srilanka when they come over to visit us. Generally we get only fresh fish for cooking. But nowadays even in Chennai we get these stuffs in super market.
After coming to UK I get these tin fish often since for getting fresh fish we need to go far away. Once in a while we get fresh fish. In the other times these tin fish will help us a lot. My daughter loves fish so I cook them often. I use Samudra or BTM brand. I use more tomatoes in this curry as opposed to tamarind. Any fish curry taste better next day and allow it to boil nicely for more taste.
