Paneer Tikka Pizza Recipe | Whole wheat Paneer Tikka Pizza recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Paneer Tikka Pizza is variation of pizza made with marinated pieces of paneer with tandoori spices. It is so flavorful and spicy pizza. You can use chicken or any other veggies too. I used paneer, onion and capsicum. You can enjoy these guilt free as I have used wheat flour for the base. Prepare the base and refrigerate them and use for pizza when required.
Key to making good pizza base is kneading the dough nicely. Check out how to make Paneer in home if you are interested. I have used homemade pizza sauce, you can use store bought pizza sauce too. Base recipe is same as Cheese Burst Pizza. I have already shared Veggie Whole wheat pizza too. Its okay to indulge in these treats once in a while. Ingredients
Pizza Base
- Wheat flour 3 cups
- Milk powder ¼ cup optional
- Dry Yeast 4 tsp
- Water 1 ½ cup or as required
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Butter 3 tbsp
- Salt 2 tsp
Paneer Tikka Masala
- Paneer 50 grams
- Onions ¼ cup
- Tomatoes ¼ cup
- Capsicum ¼ cup
- Curd 3 tbsp
- Salt as required
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder ¼ tsp
- Garam masala ½ tsp
- Pepper powder ½ tsp
- Kasuri methi 1-2 tsp
- Oil 2 tsp
Pizza topping
- Pizza sauce 3 tbsp
- Cheese ½ cup
- salt to sprinkle
- Pepper powder to sprinkle
- Chilli flakes as required
- Italian seasoning as required
Instructions
- Warm water and add sugar to it and mix till sugar is dissolved.
- Add yeast to it and mix.
- Cover and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
- After 10 minutes yeast mixture will be frothy. This shows yeast is active. If it is not frothy don't proceed further
- Take wheat flour, milk powder and salt in a bowl.
- Add frothy yeast mixture to it and knead to form dough
- Transfer the dough to counter and add butter.
- Knead it nicely for 10-12 minutes till dough is soft and pliable
- Cover and keep it aside for 1 hour or till it doubles in size.
- Take all ingredients listed under paneer tikka masala except veggies in a bowl and mix to form a thick paste
- Add paneer, onions, tomatoes and capsicum to it.
- Mix it nicely till it is coated and keep it aside for 1 hour or overnight.
- Then sprinkle some flour in pizza tray.
- Take big dough and flatten them in pizza tray.
- Now prick it with fork on both the bases.
- Preheat the oven to 225°C for 15-20 mins and bake in the same temperature for 5-7 minutes. Since I used thick pizza base baked them little before adding toppings. You can skip this when your base is medium or thin.
- Apply pizza sauce on top of it
- Add the marinated paneer, onions, tomatoes and capsicum
- Sprinkle generous amount of cheese on top of it.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper powder, chilli flakes and Italian seasoning.
- Preheat the oven to 225°C for 15-20 mins and bake in the same temperature for 20-25 minutes till it is ready.
- Paneer Tikka Pizza is ready.
- Enjoy them for Dinner/Snacks
