Peanut Sundal Recipe | Verkadalai Sundal | Groundnut Sundal Recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Peanut sundal is quick and easy snack recipe made using boiled peanuts. It is also called as verkadalai or nilakadalai in tamil. Boiled peanuts are seasoned with simple spices and grated coconut. Sundal is often prepared to offer to god and this is one of the common sundal made during Navrathri.
I used fresh ground nuts so directly boiled it. You can always use the dry peanuts which we get in shops. You need to soak it for 4 hours or overnight and use them. I love fresh groundnuts than the dry ones. It takes time to peel the shells when using fresh ones. But you can involve the kids to do it. Enjoy them as snacks during Tea time.
