Peas Cutlet Recipe | Green Peas Cutlet recipe with step by step instuctions. Peas cutlet is simple snack which can be prepared quickly for kids. I need to pack something for my daughter lunch box. She is poor eater of vegetables. So I always look for different ways to feed her. I had frozen peas so thought of trying peas cutlet for her lunch box. We just need to boil peas and potatoes, mix all spice powders, shape and fry them. We can prepare it in less than 30 minutes.

Peas Cutlet Recipe | Green Peas Cutlet
Peas Cutlet is kids friendly recipe made with peas and potatoes.
Ingredients
- Peas 1 cup
- Potato 3 small
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
- Garam masala ½ tsp
- Cumin powder ¼ tsp
- Pepper powder ¼ tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Coriander leaves few finely chopped
- Maida 2 tbsp
- Bread crumbs as required
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- Boil potato and peas for 3 whistles. Mash them and make it ready.
- To this mixture add ginger garlic paste and all the spice powders and mix nicely.
- Add chopped coriander leaves and mix.
- Shape them in any shape as you like and dip them in maida paste(2 tbsp maida mixed with water). I shaped them round and flattened them as cutlet and also made few small balls.
- Coat with bread crumbs and keep it aside
- Heat oil and fry the prepared cutlets until golden brown in colour. We can shallow fry them in pan also.
- Serve with tomato sauce.
Notes
You can shallow fry the cutlets too. We can use egg for coating instead of maida paste.
