Shahi Tukda Recipe | Shahi Tukra | How to make Shahi Tukda recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Shahi Tukda is delicious royal dessert prepared using bread and rabri. Bread pieces are deep fried in ghee and then soaked in sugar syrup and later served with rabri. Shahi Tukra/Tukda is believed to be originated during Mughal origin. Shahi means royal and tukda means piece. Since it is royal dessert they always deep fry the bread in ghee and use lot of nuts and saffron.
Serve them for parties and special occasions. You can prepare the dessert quickly if you have rabri ready. I toasted the bread in ghee instead of deep frying. If you prefer less sweet you can even skip the coating in sugar syrup. Adjust the consistency of rabri according to your preference. With this I am completing my first week of Mega Marathon. Very interesting and innovative recipes from everyone. Now let's see how to make this royal dessert
