Upma Uttapam Recipe | Leftover Upma Uttapam recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. It is quick and easy breakfast or dinner recipe which can be prepared with leftover upma. Upma is one the most common breakfast and sometimes we always end up with leftover. I don’t like to keep in fridge, heat and eat as such as well as don’t like to waste the leftover food items so always make something out of it.
I have made some fritters or pakoda using leftover upma before and wanted to try something in low calories. Came across this recipe which gave me the idea and I made it as instant uttapam instead of grinding. It is very simple and made with easily available ingredients. How to make Upma Uttapam with step by step pictures
Take upma in mixer. Grind to smooth paste adding 1/2 cup water. Transfer to bowl and add rice flour and wheat flour
Add water and mix it to a smooth batter.
Then add onions, green chilli, salt and cumin.
Mix till everything is combined.
Heat dosa pan and spread the batter.
Drizzle oil and flip and cook till done
Serve it hot with sambar and chutney.
