Veg Kabab Recipe | Vegetable Seekh Kabab | Veg seekh kabab recipe with step-by-step pictures and instructions. Veg seekh kabab is a delicious starter made with minced vegetables and spices. It is a vegetarian variation of the famous seekh kabab made with minced meat.
Vegetables are boiled, mashed, mixed with spices, and skewed onto the skewers. Grill in the oven or shallow fry them in the pan. I have shared the air fryer and stovetop version of making veg kabab. Serve this as starters at parties along with some dip or green chutney.

I gave her onion and lemon juice and she made the juicy Lebanese chicken seekh kabab. She gave me cumin powder and beans and I made this delicious veg seekh kabab.

Ingredients
- Potato 3
- Beetroot 1
- Sweet corn 1 cup
- Beans 10
- Salt as required
- Red chilli powder 2 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder ½ tsp
- Chaat masala ½ tsp
- Garam masala ½ tsp
- Cumin Powder ½ tsp
- Maize flour/corn flour ¼ cup
- Bread crumbs ½ cup or as required
- Oil 1-2 tbsp
Instructions
- Wash, peel the skin and chop all the vegetables.
- Take all the vegetables along with sweet corn in the steamer.
- Close and steam for 10 minutes till it is cooked.
- Allow it to cool down and take in mixer.
- Grind to coarse paste and take in the bowl
- Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, chaat masala, and cumin powder.
- Then add maize flour to the mixture.
- Mix nicely to form a sticky paste.
- Then add bread crumbs to it and mix.
- Grease hands with oil and shape the kabab onto the skewers or toothpick.
- Similarly do the same for rest of the mixture.
- Then preheat the air fryer for 200C for 3 minutes. Then grill the kabab in the same temperature for 12-15 minutes till it is crispy. Brush oil in between for even browning.
- Heat oil in the pan and shallow fry the kabab till it is crispy and golden in color
- Delicious veg seekh kabab is ready. Serve it with mint chutney.

How to make Veg Seekh Kabab with step by step pictures
