Bread sandwich or toast always come handy when you want to make quick breakfast or snack. I always make toast for breakfast when I am in hurry. You can make green chutney ahead and make bread toast in busy mornings in 10 minutes. We can use any stuffing for the toast. I used simple vegetables like cucumber, carrot, capsicum where there is no need to cook.
I was introduced to sandwich in my office only. We used to have different types of sandwich with green chutney during evening. Even I like the spicy red chutney in sandwiches. You can serve it simply with tomato sauce or green chutney. In busy mornings I pack these for my husband and he eats during travel to office.

Ingredients
- Bread 4 slices
- Onion 1 small finely chopped
- Cucumber ⅓ cup finely chopped
- Capsicum ½ cup finely chopped
- Salt little to sprinkle
- Pepper powder little to sprinkle
- Green Chutney as required
- Butter for brushing
Instructions
- Finely chop the onions, cucumber, capsicum.
- Add the finely chopped vegetables on two slices of bread
- Sprinkle some salt and pepper powder on top
- Cover with remaining bread slices
- Apply some butter on the top
- Place them in toaster or you can toast them in stove top.
- Toast till bread is browned
- Serve hot with cup of milk
- Veg toast is ready.

How to make Veg toast with step by step pictures
Finely chop the onions, cucumber, capsicum.
Take four slices of bread
Apply Green Chutney on one side of the bread.
Add the finely chopped vegetables on two slices of bread
Sprinkle some salt and pepper powder on top
Cover with remaining bread slices
Apply some butter on the top
Place them in toaster or you can toast them in stove top.
Toast till bread is browned
Serve hot with cup of milk
Veg toast is ready.
