Vegetable Biryani Recipe | Seeraga Samba Vegetable Biryani Recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Seeraga samba rice is short grain and flavorful rice and I am in love with it after eating thalapakkati biryani. It is quite popular to use this rice for biryani down south. My MIL always use jeera rice and it lends unique taste to biryani.
I love any type of Biryani/Pulao and can eat any time of the day. Add any veggies of your choice and serve it with Raita. I used the open pot method of cooking instead of pressure cooking with whistle so rice won’t get mushy. You can always pressure cook for 2 whistles. Adjust the spices according to your preference. Let’s see how to make this flavorful biryani.
