Whipped Cream Frosting Recipe | How to make Whipped Cream Frosting recipe with step by step pictures and instructions. Whipped Cream is used for decorating cakes, desserts or used for filling and piping. It is one of the simple frosting recipes we can use for decorating the cake. We should use heavy whipping cream where fat content(>35%) is more so it doubles in volume while beating and forms stiff peaks. It is also called as double cream in some countries.
It requires just two ingredients Whipping Cream and Sugar. We can flavor them with vanilla, strawberry or any other flavor as per our choice. Remove the whipping cream from freezer and keep in refrigerator for sometime before beating. Always keep the bowl and whisk attachment in freezer for 20 mins. Whipping cream will be sweet so adjust the sugar according to your preference. But adding sugar will stabilize the cream. Mix any color of your choice while decorating the cakes. You can use the leftover whipping cream in milkshakes or any desserts. It can be kept in fridge for one week to 10 days.

Place bowl and whisk attachment in freezer for 20 minutes. Take whipping cream in the bowl
Beat it till bubbles form and add sugar
Beat it till stiff peaks forms. If you lift the whisk attachment it will be stable. you can invert the bowl and see it doesn’t fall
Whipped Cream should be used immediately. Otherwise it needs to be refrigerated. Use it to decorate your cakes or desserts.
