White Sauce Pasta Recipe | Pasta in white sauce recipe with step-by-step pictures and instructions. It is a creamy and delicious pasta cooked in white sauce. White Sauce is a thick creamy sauce made with a combination of butter, flour, and milk. You can add a lot of vegetables to make it more colorful and healthy.
You can make this for a party or holiday treat for kids. So simple and easy to prepare with minimal ingredients. Roast the vegetables, cook the pasta, and keep it ready. Then prepare the white sauce and mix it with the cooked pasta and vegetables. I have used carrot, beans, and capsicum. You can use any vegetables or meat of your choice.

White Sauce Pasta Recipe | Pasta in white sauce
Ingredients
- Pasta 2 cups
- Butter 1/2 tbsp
- Garlic 3-4
- Onions 3 tbsp finely chopped
- Veggies 1/2 cup heaped
- Salt as required
White sauce
- Butter 3 tbsp
- Wheat flour 1.5 tbsp
- Milk 1.5 cup
- Cheese 1/4 cup optional
- Salt as required
- Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
- Mixed herbs 1-2 tsp
- Red chilli flakes 1-2 tsp
Instructions
- Boil water in a vessel.
- Once it boils add the pasta and little salt
- Allow it to cook for 8-10 minutes till it is done.
- Drain the water and keep it aside
- Heat 1/2 tbsp butter in a pan
- Add the finely chopped garlic and roast it.
- Then add onions and saute it for a min.
- Next, add the veggies and saute them till it is crunchy and cooked.
- Remove the veggies and heat butter in the same pan.
- Once it melts add the wheat flour and keep stirring to form a thick paste without lumps
- Slowly add milk to it and mix continuously.
- Add salt, red chili flakes, mixed herbs, and pepper powder and mix.
- It will become creamy in a few minutes.
- Add the grated cheese to it and mix.
- Add the cooked pasta to it.
- Finally, add the roasted vegetables.
- Mix till pasta is coated nicely with the white sauce.
- Delicious white sauce pasta is ready.
