Vendakkai Mor Kuzhambu Recipe | Okra Buttermilk Curry Recipe | Mor Kulambu
Vendakkai mor kuzhambu is spicy and tangy yogurt based gravy made with lady’s finger/okra/vendakkai.

Ingredients
Ladies finger/Vendakkai 100 grams
Sour curd 2 cups
Oil 1.5 tbsp
Mustard ½ tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Red chilli 3
Hing ½ tsp
Curry leaves few
Salt as required
To grind
Grated coconut 2 tbsp
Green chilli 2
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Shallots 4
Garlic 2
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Instructions
Add 2 tsp oil and roast the okra
Roast them nicely till golden and remove from the pan.
Take all items listed under to grind in mixer
Grind to smooth paste adding little water.
Whisk the curd nicely.
Add the grounded masala to curd.
Mix nicely with whisk
Now heat oil and temper with mustard, cumin seeds, hing, red chilli and curry leaves.
Add the roasted okra to it
Add the required salt
Finally add the curd masala mixture.
Allow it to just come to boil and switch off the flame.
Delicious vendakkai mor kuzhambu is ready.
Notes
Use sour curd and don't reheat or allow it to boil more.
Adjust the green chilli according to your taste.
Enjoy it with hot rice and some fry.
