2 minute Microwave Red Velvet Mug Cake

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour 3 tbsp
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Milk 3 tbsp
  • Vinegar ½ tsp
  • Cocoa powder 2 tsp
  • Baking soda a pinch
  • Red color few drops
  • Vanilla essence few drops

Topping

  • Cream Cheese Frosting as required

Instructions

  • Take a mug and add milk, sugar, oil and vinegar and mix nicely till sugar is dissolved.
  • Then add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, vanilla essence and red color and mix nicely without any lumps.
  • Microwave the cake for 1 ½ mins at 800°C
  • Enjoy with cream cheese frosting or plain mug cake

Notes

My cake didn't rise much as I used very little baking soda. You can add ¼ tsp baking soda if you like the cake to rise much.
Microwave time depends on temperature. It can be between 1-2 minutes
Use medium sized mug for this measurement. I used bigger mug so cake was upto ¾th of the mug only.
I enjoyed with cream cheese frosting. If you like more sweet can add little more sugar.
It is best to enjoy microwave cakes hot.
