Bread Omelette Recipe | Street Style Bread Omelette

Ingredients

  • Bread 2 slices
  • Egg 2
  • Onions ½ cup finely chopped
  • Green chillies 1 finely chopped
  • Salt as required
  • Red chilli powder ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
  • Pepper powder ¼ tsp
  • Milk 3 tsp optional
  • Butter as required for toasting

Instructions

  • Finely chop the onions and green chillies.
  • Crack two eggs in bowl
  • Add onions and green chillies to it.
  • Add the red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and pepper powder.
  • Add milk to the egg mixture.
  • Mix nicely till everything is combined.
  • Heat dosa pan and drizzle some butter
  • Toast the bread slices flipping both sides
  • Keep it ready.
  • Drizzle little oil and pour the egg mixture to the spread to size of bread.
  • Place the bread on top it.
  • Cover the top side of bread with egg
  • Flip the bread and cook till it is fully cooked.
  • Serve bread omelette with tomato sauce and coffee.

Notes

You can skip onions and green chillies if you are making for kids
Toasting bread is optional
