Cut the idli into small cubes. Refrigerate the idli for sometime so pieces come neat.
Finely chopped the onions, green chillies, garlic and capsicum.
Heat 2 tsp oil in pan and shallow fry the idli.
Fry them till crisp
Remove the fried idli and in the same pan add 2 tsp oil.
Add garlic and green chillies and saute till slightly browns.
Now add the finely chopped onions, capsicum and saute nicely for 3-4 minutes.
Add salt, red chilli powder, pepper powder, soya sauce and tomato sauce.
Sprinkle little water and allow it to boil for 1 minute
Now add the fried idlis and saute
Mix nicely till everything is combined.
Garnish with spring onions or coriander leaves and serve
Serve chilli Idli hot.
