Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies

Learn how to make soft and delicious hazelnut cookies. These cookies are flavored with hazelnut and chocolate.

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour/maida 1 cup
  • Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
  • Baking powder ½ tsp
  • Butter 65 grams
  • Powdered sugar ½ cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tbsp
  • Salt a pinch
  • Milk 1 tsp or as required optional
  • Chopped or powdered hazelnuts ⅓ cup

Instructions

  • Take wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in bowl.
  • Mix it nicely and keep it aside
  • Take butter and powdered sugar in a bowl
  • Cream butter and sugar together.
  • To this add all the dry ingredients and mix
  • Mix together to form a dough
  • Add the vanilla essence and mix together
  • Fold the chopped hazelnut and mix together
  • Line the baking tray with parchment paper
  • Take small ball and flatten them and arrange in baking trayddfd
  • Preheat the oven at 160°C and bake in the same temperature for 18-20 minutes till the sides brown.
  • Serve the delicious chocolate hazelnut cookies

Notes

Baking time can vary between different oven and thickness of cookies. So always keep an eye after 15 minutes.
Cookies always looks soft while taking out and later becomes firm
If the mixture is dry, add few drops of milk to form a dough. If it is sticky you can 1 tbsp flour extra and form dough.
