Potato Sandwich Recipe | Aloo Sandwich | Spicy Potato Masala sandwich

A potato sandwich is a quick breakfast or snack recipe made with bread, potatoes, and spices.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes 300 grams
  • Green chili 1
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
  • Cumin Powder ¼ tsp
  • Amchur powder ½ tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Bread 10-12 slices
  • Green chutney as required
  • Butter as required

Instructions

  • Boil the potatoes for 2-3 whistles and peel the skin.
  • Mash the potatoes nicely.
  • Add salt, finely chopped green chili, coriander leaves, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and amchur powder.
  • Mix nicely till combined.
  • Potato masala for a sandwich is ready.
  • Take bread slices and apply green chutney on the top
  • Then add the stuffing to it.
  • Cover with remaining bread slices and apply little butter on the top.
  • Place them in the toaster or you can toast them on the stovetop.
  • Toast till bread is browned
  • Potato sandwich is ready.
  • Serve hot with a cup of Coffee/Tea.

Notes

Adjust the spices according to your preference.
You can replace green chutney with some butter or mayo or tomato sauce or skip it too.
