Jeera Rice
Jeera rice is a quick and easy one pot meal made with basmati rice, ghee and cumin seeds

- 1 cup Basmati rice
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 2 Bay leaves 2 small
- 2 Cardamom 2
- Cloves 2
- Cinnamon 2 small sticks
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Salt as required
- Water 1.5 cups
Wash and soak basmati rice for 20 minutes
Drain water and keep it ready.
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and temper with jeera, bay leaf, cinnamom, cardamom, and cloves.
Then add the washed rice and saute for 1-2 minutes.
Next, add water and salt to it.
Close the lid and pressure cook for 1 whistle on medium flame and 5 minutes on low flame
Release the pressure and gently mix the rice
Flavorful jeera rice is ready.
