Soak soya chunks in hot water. Drain and squeeze excess water and keep it ready.
Soak basmati rice for 30 minutes.
Heat ghee, oil and temper with ingredients given under to temper
Add onions and slit green chillies and saute till golden.
Then add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes.
Then add the chopped mint leaves and saute for min.
Next add chopped tomatoes and saute till mushy.
Then add soaked soya chunks.
Now add all masalas like red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt.
Finally add curd to it.
Saute nicely for 4-5 minutes.
Then add water and allow it to boil.
Once it boils add the soaked rice and close the cooker.
Pressure cook for 1 whistle in medium and 5 minutes in low flame or two whistles whichever is coming first.
Once the pressure releases open the lid and squeeze lemon juice and gently mix.
Delicious soya chunks biryani is ready.
