Thukpa Recipe | Vegetable Noodle Soup Recipe

Thukpa is a Tibetan noodle soup, which originated in the eastern part of Tibet.

Ingredients

  • Noodles 1 small packet 90 grams
  • Cabbage ½ cup
  • Capsicum ¼ cup
  • Carrot ¼ cup
  • Beans ¼ cup
  • Oil 2 tsp
  • Garlic 5-6 finely chopped
  • Green chilli sauce 2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder ½ tsp
  • Onions 1 small.
  • Pepper powder ½ tsp

Instructions

  • Boil noodles in water for 8-10 minutes till it is cooked.
  • Drain the water and keep it ready.
  • Heat oil and add finely chopped onions and garlic.
  • Then add cabbage, capsicum, carrot and beans.
  • Saute the vegetables for 3- 4 minutes.
  • Then add green chilli sauce, salt, sugar and red chilli powder
  • Add water and allow it to boil for 5 minutes.
  • Then add the cooked noodles
  • Finally add pepper powder and check for salt.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Notes

You can add any vegetables or meat of your choice.
Adjust the sauce and spice according to your preference.
