Take butter and sugar in a bowl.
Mix butter and sugar to form creamy texture and add vanilla essence.
Then add wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
Bring it together to form dough and add chocolate chips to it.
Cling wrap the prepared dough and keep in fridge for 1 hour or till you are ready to bake
Place the dough in parchment paper.
Place another parchment paper on top of it and roll the dough of uniform thickness.
Sprinkle some chocolate chip on top of it and press little.
Make some lines using skewers or knife.
Cut them as equal squares and place them in baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Preheat the oven at 175°C and bake in the same temperature for 15-18 minutes till it is done.
Once it cools down store in airtight container
Serve the cookies with hot cup of Tea/Coffee
