Air Fried Lobia Cutlet Recipe | Black-Eyed Pea Cutlet in Air Fryer

Air Fried lobia cutlet is a crispy snack made with black-eyed pea.

Ingredients

  • Lobia/Black-eyed pea 1 cup cooked
  • Cooked rice ½ cup
  • Besan flour 3 tbsp
  • Corn flour 1-2 tbsp
  • Green chili 1-2
  • Mint leaves 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • Bread crumbs as required
  • Oil for brushing

Instructions

  • Take one cup cooked black-eyes pea in mixer
  • Add cooked rice, green chili, coriander leaves, salt and mint leaves to it.
  • Grind to smooth paste. Add little water if required.
  • Transfer to bowl and add besan and cornflour to it.
  • Mix everything together till combined.
  • Take a small ball and flatten them in your palm
  • Then dust it with bread crumbs
  • Repeat the same for the rest of the mixture
  • Preheat the air fryer at 200°C for 3 minutes
  • Then arrange the cutlet in the tray and brush little oil and air fry them at the same temperature for 15-20 minutes.
  • After ten minutes flip the cutlet and air fry till crispy.
  • Black-eyed Pea cutlet is ready.

Notes

I used my leftover black-eyed pea masala.
Adjust the spices according to your choice. Can add red chili powder too.
It should be done in 15 minutes. Check and then air fry for 2-3 minutes extra.
If you air fry for more time, it may become hard.
You can bake in the same temperature in oven.
You can shallow or deep fry the cutlets instead of making in air fryer.
