Aval Laddu is a healthy and delicious ladoo made with three main ingredients poha, brown sugar, and ghee.

Ingredients
Aval 1 cup
Brown sugar ½ cup
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
Ghee 3-4 tbsp
Cashews 6-8
Instructions
Dry roast poha in a pan till crispy.
Allow it to cool down and take in a mixer.
Grind to a fine powder.
Take brown sugar in the mixer and powder it.
Take poha, sugar, cardamom powder in a bowl
Heat ghee and roast the cashews till golden.
Add the roasted cashews and ghee to the mixture.
Mix it nicely with a spoon.
Shape them as ladoo. Can add more ghee if it doesn't hold shape.
Healthy aval laddu is ready.
Notes
You can use any variety of poha for this recipe.Use powdered jaggery or white sugar instead of brown sugar. Roast the poha nicely till crispy. You can reduce the ghee and add milk for binding. But shelf life will be less.Ladoo will become more firm after sometime. You can add powdered nuts, coconut for variations.
