Baby Corn Fried Rice Recipe | How to make Baby Corn Fried Rice
Baby corn fried rice is variation of veg fried rice with the addition of baby corn. So simple and easy to make recipe which kids will love.

Ingredients
Veggies ½ cupcarrot, cabbage, capsicum finely chopped
Onions ¼ cup finely chopped
Oil 1 tbsp
Garlic 3 finely chopped
Salt as required
Pepper powder ½ tsp or as required
Soya sauce 1 tsp
Vinegar ½ tsp
Sugar ¼ tsp
Cooking rice
Water 1.5 cup
Rice ½ cup
Marination
Red chilli powder ¼ tsp
Ginger garlic paste ¼ tsp
Salt as required
Baby corn ½ cup
Instructions
Cooking rice
Soak ½ cup basmati rice for 15 mins
Boil 1.5 cup water in a pan
Once it boils add rice to it.
Cook for 5-7 minutes till it is just done.
Drain the water and allow it to cool down
Marination
Slice the baby corn
Boil them in water for 2-3 minutes
Drain the water and add red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, salt.
Marinate and keep it aside.
Preparing fried rice
Heat 0.5 tbsp oil and shallow fry the baby corn and remove them.
Add remaining oil and add finely chopped garlic in the pan..
Once it browns add onions and finely chopped vegetables.
Saute in high flame for 1-2 minutes and then add shallow fried baby corn.
Saute and then add salt, pepper powder, soya sauce and vinegar.
Finally add the cooked rice and saute in high flame.
Then add sugar and mix.
Baby corn fried rice is ready.
Serve it hot with Gobi Manchurian or any side dish of your choice.
Notes
Use big wok for preparing so you can saute in high flame. Sauteing in high flame gives the restaurant style taste. Adjust the pepper powder or you can add one green chilli too. Shallow frying the baby corn is optional. You can directly add along with vegetables also.
