Besan karasev is crispy and crunchy snack which can be prepared within 30 minutes.

Ingredients
Besan flour 2.5 cups
Ajwain 1.5 tsp
Pepper powder ½ tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Hot oil ¼ cup
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Hing ¼ tsp
Salt as required
Water as required
Instructions
Sieve the besan flour once and take in a bowl
Add salt, hing, lajwain, pepper powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder to it and mix.
Add hot oil to it and mix it so it resembles crumbs.
Now add water little by little and knead to smooth dough.
Dough should be smooth and soft and not too stiff.
Take murukku press and use plate with holes. Grease it with oil and load the dough.
Press it directly in hot oil in circle form without overlapping each other.
Flip and cook in medium flame till bubbles subsides.
Drain in kitchen tissue. Repeat the same for rest of the dough.
Karasev is ready
Notes
If the dough is difficult to press, then it is too stiff and you can add few drops of water and knead to smooth dough. Don't add too much water too as it will absorb more oilI used less spices for kids, you can add more pepper powder or chilli powder. You can use butter instead of oil
