Bread balls recipe | Veg Bread Balls | Bread bites recipe

Bread balls are a crispy and delicious snack made with bread.

Ingredients

  • Bread Slices 15
  • Bread crumbs as required

Stuffing

  • Vegetables mixed 4 cups
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Onion 1 medium
  • Salt 1 tsp or as required
  • Pepper powder 1.5 tsp or as required
  • Soya sauce 2 tsp
  • Vinegar/lemon juice 1 tsp optional

Instructions

  • Wash and chop all the vegetables.
  • Heat oil and add finely chopped onions
  • Then add the vegetables and saute in high flame for 4-5 minutes
  • Then add salt, pepper powder, vinegar, and soya sauce.
  • Saute nicely and switch off the flame
  • Stuffing is ready.
  • Take bread slices and trim the edges and press it with roller.
  • Then dip the bread in water and squeeze the excess water.
  • Add the stuffing in the middle.
  • Bring them together to form balls and seal them.
  • Then dip the bread balls in bread crumbs.
  • Repeat the same for all balls.
  • Heat oil and deep fry the balls till golden.
  • Delicious bread balls are ready.

Notes

I used cabbage, carrot, capsicum and beans.
Veggies should be crunchy.
You can use any stuffing of your choice like paneer, mushroom, potato, chicken, egg
Bread should be dipped in little water only. Otherwise bread become soggy and absorb more oil. You can brush the water also instead of dipping.
You can moist your hands while bringing it together to form balls.
You can make this ahead and store in fridge and deep fry them when required.
