Ingredients
Onion 1
Broccoli 1 medium sized
Red chilli powder ¾ tsp
Salt 1 tsp or as required
Garam masala ½ tsp
Pepper powder ½ tsp
Mustard ½ tsp
Cumin ½ tsp
Oil 2 tsp
Coriander leaves to garnish
Instructions
Wash and clean the broccoli and keep it ready.
Heat oil and add mustard and cumin seeds.
Once it browns add the onions and saute for 2-3 minutes
Now add the broccoli and saute for 1 minute till it shrinks.
Add salt, red chilli powder and garam masala and mix
Now add little water
Cover and cook for 5 minutes
Open the lid and check if broccoli is cooked and water is absorbed.
Add pepper powder and saute for few seconds
Switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves
Serve Broccoli stir fry with rice.
Notes
You can add ginger garlic paste for flavorYou can add green chillies for taste tooYou can skip red chilli powder and use only pepper too.Don't over cook the broccoli. It needs to be crunchy.
