Buckwheat Cookies Recipe | Gluten free buckwheat cookies without oven

Buckwheat cookies are healthy, gluten free cookies made with buckwheat flour

Ingredients

  • Buckwheat flour ¾ cup
  • Corn flour ¼ cup
  • Powdered brown sugar ⅓ cup
  • Butter 100 grams

Instructions

  • Take butter and powdered sugar in a bowl.
  • Mix butter and sugar to form creamy texture
  • Then add buckwheat flour and corn flour and mix nicely to form dough.
  • You can add few drops of milk/water if required to form dough.
  • Take small ball of the dough and flatten them.
  • Grease the baking tray and place the cookies in them.
  • In the kadai place a plate with holes and pre heat for 5-7 minutes.
  • Then place the baking tin and bake in low flame for 20-22 minutes till it is done.
  • Cool the cookies in wire rack and enjoy.
  • Buckwheat cookies is ready.

Notes

Baking time will differ depending on oven as well as thickness of cookies. So always keep an eye after 15 minutes
Cookies always looks soft while taking out and later becomes firm. Bake them little longer if you like it to be crispy.
If you are making in oven, preheat the oven at 175°C and bake in the same temperature for 15-18 minutes till it is done.
You can substitute brown sugar with white sugar or jaggery. Adjust according to the sweetness you prefer.
