Ingredients
Cumin seeds ¼ cup
Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Ajwain/Carom seeds ½ tsp
Black pepper 1 tbsp
Hing ¼ tsp
Amchur/Dry mango powder 2-3 tbsp
Black salt 2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Instructions
Dry roast cumin seeds till aromatic
Then roast coriander seeds, pepper and ajwain till fragrant.
Allow it to cool down.
Take salt, hing, amchur powder, and black salt in a mixer.
Add roasted ingredients to it.
Grind to fine powder.
Flavorful and aromatic chaat masala is ready.
Store in airtight container and use it in your chaat, curries, raita etc.
Notes
Adjust black salt and Amchur powder as per your preference. Roast in low flame and make sure not to burn itStore in airtight container and use clean spoon for use. Keeps well up to 1-2 months.
