Chocolate Ganache Recipe | How to make Chocolate Ganache

Chocolate Ganache is the simplest frosting recipe which can be used for frosting, pouring or filling.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate 250 grams
  • Heavy whipping cream 150 grams

Instructions

  • Finely chop the chocolates and keep it ready
  • Take whipping cream in microwave safe bowl
  • Microwave for 40 seconds
  • Add chopped chocolate to cream and allow it to sit for 2-3 minutes.
  • Then mix with hand whisk till smooth and shiny
  • Use chocolate ganache for pouring over thecake or drizzles or for decorating.
  • Allow the Ganache to cool down before pouring over the cake.

Notes

Change the proportion of chocolate and whipping cream as per your choice. More chocolate ganache will be more thicker
You can use choco chips instead of chocolate to make ganache
You can melt the chocolate in double boiler method and then add cream to it to make ganache too
Don't over heat the cream
It keeps well in fridge for 10-15 days.
